Long ago every hand that rises in a concert or a live show of a famous band sports a "rock on" gesture or a "peace sign". Nowadays, there are still those gestures, but mostly you will see mobile phones recording or taking pictures, such is the way of this generation. People will go to gigs and record priceless moments thus being "not in the moment". It would be hypocrisy to say that those guys are the worse, they have their reasons and should not be judged wrongly, and still it defeats the purpose of being in a party only to record how fun the event is without even having fun yourself. The good part about this is that if you're that person who loves to record those special original genius, there is that mobile app developer out there who feels your needs and "fills your needs". Because if you're going to record something, then better be using a Smartphone right? A bulky camera or video camera would be great for higher quality videos and pictures but why would you bring those in a crowded place? And they don't have the apps that mobile phones nowadays have so leave that tech at home and just bring a Smartphone.

Take a photo, any photo of you partying, use an app that changes your photo to "old film effect", write in something using the Helvetica font and "poooof!" you now have a cool picture in your hand ready to upload in your phone. All those made possible by that genius mobile app developer you don't even know his name. You don't need a photo editor these days; all you need is a camera phone and a few minutes to edit that simple photo and you can be that artists that boys/girls adore and chases around. If you know your mobile apps, the ones that makes a few minor adjustments to simple stuffs like photos or videos, that can make you a people person in an instant. Being cool through using simple apps aren't new nowadays, let's face it, not everyone knows the full potential of most apps. Most people just use their mobile phone for social media purposes, texting, calling, games, etc. they don't know that there are apps out there that is so cool it can make its user cool as well.

You may be labeled as a hipster if you get a hyped overpriced phone but if you use it to its full potential, that phone, and being called a hipster, will all be worth it. Thanks to a good many mobile application developer smart phones can really be helpful. Don't just get too obsessed with it or else you won't be able to enjoy the beauty of life anymore.
